Landmark Sculpture for Station Square, Lowestoft, Suffolk
A study of Lowestoft, its seabirds, climate, history of immigration and links to Denmark resulted in this towering public artwork that stands at 9 metres in height.
Five, life sized stainless steel Bewick Swans fly in from the sea, a tribute to Danish Author Hans Christian Andersen’s story The Wild Swans, Held aloft on a swirling, wind thermal inspired, stainless steel structure the whole sculpture is Illuminated from below at night.
